A shared photo library for your family -...
Collecting memories with family brings us closer. Pausing for a moment to snap a picture or write a few words helps us value our relationships and the experiences we have together. And sometimes sharing as a family reminds us that our family relationships are special and unique. Today we’re very excited to introduce a new version of JustFamily designed to make sharing life with family even...

A nice review in a beautiful language →
We were surprised and delighted by this really nice review in L’Echo, Belgium’s financial newspaper. We really appreciated how the reviewer used personas to describe how different family members might react to JF and then eventually be won over. Also super impressed that the reviewer used JF enough to be able to call out features like “reply to comment” from email. He even...

Fun reviews from around the world
We’re grateful to the good folk that have taken the time to take a look at JustFamily and write up reviews. We also love how small our world is in 2012. News travels far and fast. Here’s a quick tour de reviews from around the world: Good ol’ US of A -> Social Times England, via a bright Bulgarian Blogger ;-) -> Ilyana Granada (in spanish) -> wwwhatsnew.com ...

Nice write up on the company in WSJ's VC Dispatch →
“…The chief executive and father of seven explains that if Facebook and Twitter are the ‘public square’ of the Internet, JustFamily is more like a private home with a big backyard…”

v1.2 is live in the App Store!
Just in time for your Labor Day weekend enjoyment, the newest JustFamily app update is live and available in the App Store. Version 1.2 makes it easier to add and invite your family. No more typing names and email addresses. If you’ve got your family’s email addresses on your phone, all you have to do is tap Invite. But, because it’s usually better to show than tell, so...

iPhone app v1.0 is available!!! →
It’s a big day in JustFamilyland… We’ve been working like crazy the past couple of months to get v1.0 done and in the App Store. Earlier this evening we got the good word. An awesome milestone for us. We’re already hard at work on v1.1 of course, but tonight we’re just going to celebrate a little bit. :-) Check it out and let us know what you think!

Remembering Uncle Robin
It’s me, Nate. This Memorial Day morning my wife Vanessa got us all gathered around the dining room table for some quiet reading time. Our 4 year old wasn’t having it and he took off to play “croquet” with a rubber mallet and a tennis ball. Our 6 year old went out to supervise. Soon the two of them were using the mallet to pound tennis balls into my car’s exhaust pipes. But even with that...

The Magical Memory Jar
Hi, there. Nate again. Lots of our early private beta users asked us where the whole idea for the jar icon in our logo came from. Well, dear reader, this is the story… From our earliest days we would talk as a team about our purpose and the resulting “identity” that should follow along with it. The purpose part was actually pretty easy. We all wanted to build a fun and easy way to collect,...

Why we're building JustFamily
Hi there! My name is Nate Quigley and I’m co-founder and CEO of JustFamily. I’m a very happy husband and father to 7 amazing children. I was raised by devoted parents in an idyllic family environment with younger brother and sister. Along with amazing in-laws, I’m part of a large, growing, and supportive extended family. In short, I’m lucky beyond words.  Great writers...
